Bronze Package

This is a great package suitable for start up websites that are static and CMS and this would be our recommendation as it comes with complete set up and ongoing support. £3 per month would be a small site up to 5 pages with no sub-domains. £10 per month would have unlimited pages and could include up to 4 sub-domain sites. Most customers would fall in to the £5 per month category.

Silver Package

This is for the more demanding website and suitable for e-commerce as this comes on a secure server with ssl certificate required for online card purchases.

Gold Package

This is a Package suitable for companies with more than one site. We will merge your websites onto the same account and set the servers up at no extra costs. We will host as many domains as you like providing the site does not exceed the disk space and bandwith limits.

Hacking and Unauthorised Exploits

Thousands of vulnerable websites are exploited everyday. Reasons for this can be financial such as extracting money out of the victim or using the victims webiste to market unauthorised products and serivces. Sabotaging a website or extracting information are other motives. JCMS recently carried out an investigation into a hacked website and we were shocked by the results. The site had been hacked as part of a game where the aim was to hack as many websites as possible. We uncovered a website where the results, including hackers, victims and scores were showcased. Surprsingly the game had been running for 9 months and we found that in just 48 hours over 400 websites had been successfully hacked. In many cases, your site can be victimized without you having the slightest clue. Unfortunately, there are also instances in which your site can be used in malicious ploys without being directly compromised. In the best interests of both you and your visitors, it is imperative that you take the appropriate measures to ensure that your site is a safe place to visit. No site will ever be 100% safe. Backing Up Your Website

The most important rule:*

Thou shalt at all time be able to return your site to a previous working state through regular use of a strong, off-site backup and recovery process. Be sure your backup and recovery process is in place and tested BEFORE you go live. This is the single best way (and often the only way) to recover from such inevitable catastrophes as:

1. A compromised/cracked site.

2. Broken site due to a faulty upgrade.

3. Hardware failure, such as dead hard drives, power failures, server theft, etc.

4. Authoritarian government intervention. (More common than some think.)

5. Needing to quickly relocate to a new server or hosting provider.
